Buffy's Spanking Club - Formation 1-4

The girls from Buffy and Angel form a club, to gamble for painful and embarrassing penalties, which get more severe as the story goes on. The six characters are introduced two at a time.

I've posted this plotline before as an OC story, but with very few illustrations, and they were done in Blender - much more primitive. I've reworked it as a Buffy fanfic, and with many more (and better) pictures, done with Daz 4.

How the Club was Formed

Willow and Buffy discovered their common interest in daring spanking games in chance conversation. The subject of the old Warner Brothers cartoons, like "Merry Melodies", came up. Buffy said her favourite was the one where a cat and a bulldog play gin rummy for penalties.

"Oh yes", exclaimed Willow, "and the cat always loses and suffers terrible punishments". She laughed aloud. "That was the most exciting and funny thing I saw on TV growing up."

"I always imagined myself playing sword-fighting games for penalties", said Buffy. "But instead of the complicated things that happened to the cat, I imagined... Promise you won't be shocked?... that I'd get a spanking if I lost."

Willow felt a thrill, both in her stomach and lower down. "Wouldn't it be exciting, not knowing what was going to happen to you? The penalty could be something embarrassing, like having to run around the front garden naked. But being spanked over someone's knee would be terribly humiliating as well!"
Buffy agreed. "Especially if you lost badly. Then you would have to take your panties down and be spanked bare."

Willow paused for a moment then took the first of what would be many dares in the days to come. "I challenge you!", she declared. When Buffy only grinned broadly, she went on. "I'll play checkers with you and the loser has to be spanked. For every king the winner has on the board at the end, the loser has to take off a piece of clothing - from her lower half - to get her spanking."

"Shoes off first, though", said Buffy, 'upping the ante' in a determined tone of voice. "You're on!"

The two friends sat barefoot at the card table and started the game.



Willow soon found out that although she was the academically smart one, Buffy was a much better strategist. The Slayer still had so many pieces (including kings) when Willow lost, it was clear that she had forfeited the right to keep her slacks or panties on for her penalty.

Buffy slid her chair back and crooked her finger at Willow. Willow moved obediently around to her side. But then it occurred to her for the first time that this was actually going to hurt. It had been a thrilling possibility throughout the game, but now it was a certainty. She trusted her friend not to use full slayer-strength on her, but she knew it was going to sting. "Well, I let myself in for it", thought Willow. "I'd hate myself if I backed out now." She lowered her slacks to her ankles. Her panties were plain white ones from the supermarket - not at all flattering. She blushed slightly.



"You didn't expect you'd have to show them, did you?" laughed Buffy. "Never mind, get them down, now!" Her voice was demanding - she was clearly enjoying having her friend in such a submissive position.

It occurred to Willow that she could save some humiliating exposure if she pulled down her panties at the same time as bending across Buffy's waiting thighs. She threw herself over her friend's lap, while tugging down her underwear to her knees at the last possible moment.



Later on, as the kinky club they would soon form got into it's stride, Buffy would never have allowed this dodge. But for now the modest gesture went unnoticed, as she was presented with a bare and feminine bottom placed across her thighs.

Real Punishments - 1848 Princess Batthyany

37. Princess Irene Batthyany was the wife of a temporary revolutionary ruler of Hungary, in a break-away from the Austrian Empire. She was politically active against the Croatians, who wanted independence from both Austria and Hungary. The Russians (allied with the Croatians) invaded to put down the revolt, just like in 1956. Prince Batthyany was killed.

The Princess, in front of the grinning Croatians and the Budapest crowd, was put in a pillory. Her skirts and drawers were pulled down, and soldiers took turns with their belts, strapping her bare bottom. She had to apologize to the Croatian leader with her skirts and underwear still down before they would let her go.

Real Punishments - 1873 Eleanor Hussey

38. It was the custom for a long time for the hangman to receive for himself the clothing of the hanged prisoner. When Eleanor Hussey, an Irishwoman, was about to hang she decided to outwit her executioner by stripping off her own clothing first, throwing the pieces of apparel to the crowd.


I wanted to include a historical incident (besides Boadicea) where the girl gets some kind of revenge. :)


Real Punishments - 1876 Princess Alute

39 (final). Princess Alute of China was beaten while pregnant by her mother-in-law, Empress Tzu-Hsi "the Dragon Lady". As Dowager Empress, she would lose power when an heir came of age, so she didn't want one to be born yet. Thus she used bamboo caning as an abortion technique. Tzu-Hsi also caned all the eunuch servants in the Forbidden City of Beijing, at her slightest whim.

Real Punishments - 1806 Luisa Calderon

34. Sir Thomas Picton, Governor of Trinidad, was tried in 1806 for subjecting Luisa Calderon to the torture of the "picquet", an outmoded form of military punishment. Set in the floor below a pulley was a tapering wooden stake about 15cm (6") high. It was not sharp at its apex, but flat and circular, about the diameter of a small coin. Luisa had her left wrist raised above her head and chained to the pulley. Next the jailers bent up her left leg and tied her left foot to her right hand behind her back. Two men now pulled on the chain so that the girl was dangling in midair. She was then lowered again so that the ball of her foot rested on the small circle at the top of the stake. Her whole weight now rested on this tiny point, with her arm under heavy strain.

Real Punishments - 1806 Mrs Gorsthorpe

35. The Annual Register (an English publication), February 14, 1806 says: ‘A man named John Gorsthorpe exposed his wife for sale in the market, at Hull, about one o’clock; but owing to the crowd which such an extraordinary occurrence had gathered together, he was obliged to defer the sale and take her away. About four o’clock, however, he again brought her out, and she was sold for 20 guineas, and delivered, in a halter, to a person named Houseman, who had lodged with them four or five years.'

What a thing to do on Valentine's Day!

Real Punishments - 1839 Colomba Gorska

36. Colomba Gorska and the nuns of Minsk: The Basilian order defected to the Roman Catholic church, but were forced back into the Russian Orthodox. The nuns were placed in another Orthodox convent and made to do all the menial work. Bishop Siemaszko ordered them flogged twice a week, 50 lashes each time. After a few weeks, Sister Colomba fainted under the lash and couldn't do her work, so she was beaten to death.

Real Punishments - 1788 Liz Dudgens etc.

31. Women were whipped in Australia's first years as a British penal colony, as one witness described:
"Their hair has been cut off and their head shaved, which they seem to dislike more than any other punishment. At first one or two were flogg’d with a cat-o-nine-tails on the naked breech... They were also whilst under punishment so very abusive that there was necessity for gagging them." (Aussie girls have always had attitude).

Elizabeth Dudgens was one such. She had already escaped from one prison ship and swum ashore, and was whipped on the transportation ship during the crossing, for swearing at the Captain. Then at Sydney Cove, she couldn't keep out of trouble.

Real Punishments - 1793 Anne de Mericourt

32. Anne Josèphe Théroigne de Mericourt joined the Girondist party in the French Revolution, and in June 1792 commanded an attack that re-took the Bastille. The crowds called her the Amazon of Liberty. On May 31, 1793, a group of Jacobin women (a rival faction) seized her, stripped her naked, and whipped her in public - in the gardens of the Tuileries - "in a very embarrassing manner" say accounts of the time.

Anne "went mad through rage and shame, and was afterwards confined for 20 years in the lunatic asylums of Bicêtre and Charenton. Whenever she could escape from the vigilance of her jailers, she would strip herself naked, and endeavour to administer to herself the degrading punishment she had once suffered at the hands of the populace." So clearly it wasn't on the back of her body - too ordinary. Whipping her own breasts would be awkward. That leaves one more possibility. And it was done by other women, who knew what would really hurt!




Real Punishments - 1798 Breeze & Flaherty

33. At the Norfolk Island penal colony, Lieutenant-Governor Robert Ross kept a diary and an extract from it reads: "Punished Elizabeth Breeze and Phoebe Flaherty with 23 each for neglect of duty by suffering the hoggets (piglets?) to get into the garden."

What were they doing in that bleak and lonely place, to get them so distracted?

Real Punishments - 1767 Mary Clifford

28. Three indentured English apprentice girls (all named Mary), were caned and forced to work naked in front of men by their mistress, Elizabeth Brownrigg. Mary Clifford was treated worst. She was suspended from a beam to be caned, and kept in appalling conditions of dirt and starvation.

Mary C escaped to a hospital after intervention by parish officials, where she died. Brownrigg was hanged for murder, with the people lining the streets of her last ride to 'boo' and berate her. At one time the crowds would have liked to watch such canings, but this was the Age Of Enlightenment, and feelings were starting to change.


Real Punishments - 1768 Rosa Keller

29. At Arceuil near Paris, Rosa Keller was offered a job as a servant by a young nobleman. When she arrived for work she found out the true agenda of her new master, the Marquis de Sade. He made her strip naked at gunpoint, chained her up in the attic, and whipped her cruelly. He was jailed for this, and not for the last time.



Although he wrote about all kinds of strange perversions, the Marquis' actual practice was the simple situation pictured. He wasn't a nice guy by any stretch of the imagination, but unlike his contemporaries (both aristocrats and revolutionaries) he never killed anyone.


Real Punishments - 1786 Countess de LaMotte

30. This Countess of the noble Valois family became involved in a fraud concerning Queen Marie Antionette's diamonds. The Queen was furious and vengeful. Not present in court, LaMotte didn't hear her sentence until it was carried out. She was stripped bare in her cell and brought naked to Paris's public place of punishment, the Cours de Justice. The humiliated Countess was then flogged - some accounts say with switches, others with rods. All the time, she screamed insults at her captors and struggled violently. Then she was branded with a hot iron and jailed.




After she was released, the Countess travelled through England making money from her memoirs and stirring up support for the French Revolution. She was quite willing to show the marks of her punishment to gain sympathy. Marie Antoinette, of course, got a worse sentence than the Countess when the Revolution came. I wonder if Dickens' "Madame DeFarge" (who knitted and laughed as the guillotine did its work) was really Countess de LaMotte in disguise. :)

Real Punishments - 1744 Countess Lopukhina

25. Natalia Lopukhina (or Lapuchin) of Russia was an accessory to a treasonous plot involving a foreign diplomat. Empress Elizabeth, who had always been jealous of Natalia's beauty, made sure her lovely skin was marred. On 31 May 1744, the Countess was stripped naked in public, 'horsed' by the soldiers in charge of her punishment, and flogged back and front with the vicious Russian knout. Its broad flat leather lash was hardened, sometimes with a wire core, and jointed with a ring near the end so the tip would travel faster.

Real Punishments - 1746 Janina of Raab

26. A punishment that took place in Hapsburg Hungary is described in 'Aus den Memoiren einer Sangerin' (From the Memoirs of a Singer) and 'Geschichte des Korperliche Zuchtligung' (History of Corporal Punishment). They quote eyewitness Madame Anna von Luft concerning the case of a 19-year-old girl, Janina, who was a student mixed up in revolutionary politics. She was given 12 months jail with a switching once a month in the Raab public square. Anna describes Janina's short prison haircut, and says that a thin garment was provided to punished women, similar to modern panties, for the sake of modesty. But when this was introduced, a sturdier switch and extra strokes were added.

When the executor of Janina's punishment took down her pyjama-like prison pants, she was not wearing the provided underwear! It's possible they were withheld by a cruel official, but Anna thought Janina was a masochist who preferred to be switched on her bare bottom. She was apparently not perturbed at being bent over showing her anatomy in the town square. However, Anna admits Janina didn't seem to enjoy the switching itself - she yelled and pleaded through her 25 strokes on the bare skin. Was Anna mistaken, or had Janina been daring and then wished she hadn't?




Real Punishments - 1762 Catherine the Great

27. Catherine the Great of Russia liked to play games with her high-born ladies-in-waiting. She made them dress as children then, pretending to be their mother, chastised them in ‘truly maternal fashion’. At other times she acted as a governess, ordering her ladies to learn impossible lessons, and then punishing them for their failure. It was reported that during her reign (1762-96) these games were staged so often that the ladies of the Winter Palace had to attend as if attending a school class - with their dresses so adjusted that the Empress could apply discipline conveniently.

When she first married into the royal family, the only way Catherine could interest her ill and somewhat gay husband was by dressing as a soldier and taking discipline from him. Looks like what comes around, goes around!

Real Punishments - 1704 Senora Vasconcellos

22. English by birth, but married to a Spaniard, the Senora was whipped by the Inquisition, and burned in several places on her body. And why not? The English were ALL heretics, weren't they?

It was a surprise to Ms Vasconcellos. As the saying goes: "Nobody expects..."

Real Punishments - 1704 Maria Pritchard

23. In the records of Bristol, England:
"Maria Pritchard, for a cheat, in taking three yards of dowel from Mr. Rishton in the name of Alderman Swymmer, to be stripped naked to the waist on Friday morning next, and whipped from the Toizey, down one side of High Street and up the other, between the hours of 12 and 1 o’clock".

This time the horse's asses form book-ends in the picture. BTW there's no dictionary definition of Toizey, so it must have been a named place in Bristol, like this town square.




Real Punishments - 1729 Catherine Cadiere

24. Catherine Cadiere was chastised naked twice a week as a teenager by her confessor, Father Jean-Batiste Gerard. She was made a ward of Ollioules convent in 1729, at age 20. The Abbess, rightly suspicious, wouldn't let Fr Gerard see her except in the confessional. He convinced Catherine to present her bare bottom at the grill for punishment.

The nuns found out and banned him from the convent but nothing happened to him, of course.
